Kim Gil-Soo

Park Jin-Hyun
Abstract
As the overall experience with laparoscopic cholecystectomy(LC) increase, also increasing is the literature regarding the major bile duct injuries. The incidence of biliary tract injury(BTI) after LC(0=0.9%) is about three times that reported after open cholecystectomy(OC)(0.2-0.3%).21) Good knowledge concerning the mechanisms of injury, the risk factors, and accurate surgical technique are important in the prevention of BTI.
We experienced a class II113(Complete division of CBD or CHD with tissue loss) bile duct ti- injury case. It happened when a small CBD was misidentified as tie cystic duct and was -divided. The BTI was diagnosed with ERCP and treated surgically with Roux-en-Y hepaticojejunostomy Ih good result.
